Confronting Abuse and Changing lives in Armstrong and surrounding counties...

About For The Children
Annually, 3.6 million cases of child abuse, neglect or abandonment are reported in America. One of these victims dies every six hours due to that abuse. But you can make a difference — through your support of For The Children (formerly Royal Family KIDS Inc.). For The Children is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. Donations and gifts are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.

Camp & Club
Positive memories and experiences
Royal Family KIDS Camp and Mentorship Club are programs by For The Children. Our camp and club programs are designed for abused, neglected, or abandoned/displaced children ages 7-11. Our staff is trained to work with children who have experienced abuse, trauma, and loss. We currently serve children in Armstrong and Westmorland county and are accepting applicants from Indiana and Butler county.

Camp is a 5 day away/overnight program we hold at an established and accredited camp facility. Activities include archery, swimming, a Birthday Party, talent show, games, sports, crafts and more!

Club is similar to camp but is once a month for 4 hours and is held in Kittanning. There will be a snack, lesson, and a variety of activities. This may also include field trips and outings.
